Loving color and stylized production design, Sasha J Manning strives to create women-centric films representing minority voices and mental health. In 2022, she was a recipient of the Black Family Film Prize for her short film THE JAM. Her short film earned her the prestigious Black Family Film Prize in 2022, and it continues to make waves, recently being selected for the 2024 Future of Film is Female Shorts Program and the Reel Sisters of the Diaspora Film Festival.
